Vileed Online Store Warranty Policy
7 days warranty
All standard products (except custom made / personalized products) sold by Vileed online store come with a 7 days warranty from the date you receive the order, unless otherwise stated. This warranty period is not valid for personalized and customized products / services, and specially sold products. We offer extended warranty options for some products and devices. Please refer to the respective product page details.
If you happen to experience any quality problem within the warranty period, we'll happily provide a replacement, or a refund fully or partially (depend on the nature of quality problem). Product warranty is limited to solely internal defects (such as cartridge printing problems) for normal life under standard use, and it does not include:
• Faults or damages caused by improper misuse or storage, including but not limited to wear and tear, accident, dropping, mechanical damage, damp, moisture, chemical products, abnormal impact damage or force majeure. Nor shall we be liable for incidental or consequential damages.
• Modification or repair by you or third party without the respective local distributors' approval. All of our cartridges are manufactured up to strict quality standards.
Usually we will try to confirm the quality problems without asking the defective products to be sent back. We may need photos or videos of defective products to confirm the quality problem. If a quality problem cannot be confirmed in this way, we will issue a return authorization number for you to return the product. In case that products have quality problems, the shipping cost back will be bared by us. For all returning products:
• It is our policy that all returned printer cartridges must be at least seventy (70%) percent filled. We feel that this gives everyone a fair test of the quality of the product.
• All returned shipment must be informed in advance, and must be effected according to our instruction and under our approval according to our custom clearance regulations, including shipping time, transportation method, packing and shipping mark, shipping document required, delivery address, etc. Otherwise we will not bear any possible losses of return and will claim for extra expenses.
• All return items must have the original boxes as the products are sold. Protecting packaging must be used in order to protect returned product from damage during transportation.
• A return authorization must accompany all products shipped back to us for any reason. And all products return which are not found to be defective or not found to be our products will be subjected to restocking charges stated below.
• Any returns sent back to Vileed that do not follow the above criteria will be refused and sent back.
Products that have not been purchased directly from Vileed online store are subject to the return policies of the distributor/ reseller. Please consult with the distributor/ reseller concerning its return/refund policies and procedures.
Damage on Arrival
Damage on arrival are usually caused by rough handling during transportation. Products that arrived damaged should be refused by the recipient and accepted back by the carrier attempting to make the delivery. If a product that has visible damage is accepted, the recipient and the carrier must document the visible damage in order for a damage claim to be filed. Vileed must be notified within 2 days of customer receipt of a visibly damaged product, and the product must be saved and kept in the original condition in which it was received. We will contact the shipping company and insurance company for compensation as soon as we receive your notification. In order to receive a replacement product, the recipient may be requested to send relative documents for proof.
In case you've ordered the wrong items
If you've ordered the wrong items, we will still be able to help. Please email us to find out if that product is accepted for a return.
Non-returnable items: all personalized and customized products, and some standard products.
If we confirm that that product is accepted for a return, we will issue a return number for that. In this case, the shipping cost back to us should be bared by the buyer.
REFUNDS: once we receive the product and inspect it, we will credit your card for the purchase amount less:
A 50% open box fee will be assessed on any opened unit (per unit).
A 35% restocking fee will be assessed on closed box returns (per unit). All accepted returns must be returned in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, and documentation.
For orders shipped with free shipping or discounted shipping charge, the original shipping cost will be deducted.
Why do we charge restocking fee? - We charge this fee because we need to cover all the processing and repacking fee. That is how we guarantee our customers a fresh, brand new, well sealed product every time.
Refunds will usually be made to the same payment method used.
